Oh how I LOVED this wedding day! One of my very favorite venues, perfect details, great vendors, and an incredibly sweet couple who after 8 years together still have the look in their eyes towards each other as if they were newly in love. This wedding was filled with beautiful emotion that I absolutely loved capturing. Thank you so much to Becky & Nick, for allowing me to share in this perfect day with you…. and thank you to your awesome families who were so sweet to make sure this pregnant girl was taken care of.

On to the good stuff…

The wedding day was held at the picturesque Krippendorf Lodge in the Cincinnati Nature Center.

Becky looked absolutely PERFECT. (Shout out to the uber talented Nancy at Brideface on Becky’s make-up, and Two Little Buds for the gorgeous flowers… I was obsessed with the flowers!)

Seriously, the definition of a classic beauty.

Becky’s dad is just about the sweetest thing ever. The emotion in this photo is too much for me to think about & makes me tear up every time I look at it.

It’s become a bit of a “tradition” for me to have a blog giveaway on my birthday each year…. Well, here it is, my day to eat as much cake as I want (…though who are we kidding, I’m pregnant & eat as much as I want anyways…) so a giveaway is in order!

There isn’t much, but the winner needs to know that their session WILL NOT BE SHOT until after April 1st, 2011. I am all booked up for the rest of the year, and between that & my maternity leave, all new bookings have to be after April 1st. …Not to mention, the Spring is beautiful!

“Just look at him, Abby!” As Abby & her dad walked past me on their way down the aisle to her groom, I heard her dad lean over to her & whisper this. Chris was standing grinning ear to ear at the gazebo waiting for his new wife to join him. The excitement & joy in the air between the couple & all of their family and friends was almost tangible, and definitely infections. Their wedding day, held at the Manor House, was absolutely perfect & was honestly my pleasure to shoot.

Carrie & Colin – Wedding Day – Guthrie, Oklahoma

Last week I traveled to Oklahoma to photograph my cousin-in-laws wedding! The wedding events were held in the lovely little town of Guthrie, complete with adorable bed & breakfasts on every corner, quaint little coffee shops, and the beautiful Sand Plum.

Lindsey is one of my closest friends who is very near & dear to my heart. While I was in Oklahoma over the last week shooting a wedding, I was able to catch up with her and Quentin for a little shoot. Linz & Q are not engaged quite yet…. so we’re calling this a “Just Because” session in the meantime.

We had such a great time during this session checking out the adorable little town of Guthrie and finding lots of cool spots to shoot.

Amanda & Reece – Wedding Day!

Amanda & Reece are a super cute couple who’s wedding I had the privilege of documenting in Falmouth, Kentucky. I’ve loved watching Amanda’s excitement about their upcoming wedding day on facebook, and hearing all of the little details being brought together. It turned out to be a beautiful day (despite a small bug-attack during some outside shots which the bride took like a champ) and although Amanda warned me that Falmouth was quite a small town (my GPS couldn’t even find one of the addresses I had to go to…) we still found some cool (bug free) places to shoot!

Such a cute little family!!

Stacey & Nick – Engagement Session – Cincinnati Wedding Photographer

Christine & Bob – Wedding Day – Dayton Ohio

I love Christine’s sense of style. From the J. Crew bridesmaid dresses, to her Melissa Sweet gown, to the old records displaying table numbers at the reception… It was beautiful. Even more so, was the excitement between she & Bob on their wedding day. The Moraine Country Club in Kettering, Ohio served as the perfect backdrop for their super fun reception.
