Archive for March, 2010

Hands down, one of my most favorite things about being a photographer is getting to follow people through their lives… Photographing Kaleigh & Jason’s wedding last year was definitely a highlight of the year, and when I got the call that they were expecting & wanted me to photograph them in this new season of life, I was honored to oblige.  This little family has a special place in my heart, and I’m absolutely THRILLED for little Boston to make his arrival in May!

Kaleigh & Jason’s wedding was super vintage (and fabulous) so this time we decided to go the opposite route & go super urban (…and equally fabulous!)  Click HERE to see their wedding post!

Starting with one of my favorite family shots ever.

Whoever said pregnancy isn’t glamorous, clearly hadn’t met Kaleigh. She makes pregnancy super hot. With a side of bad-ass momma. (It’s my blog, I can use that word :) )

Such a poser.

Design Aglow is a super fabulous resource for photographers, and they have featured one of my photos in their new posing guide for brides & grooms!  It’s such an honor to have one of my photos chosen out of the thousands they had to look through, especially alongside such amazing photographers whose work is showcased there!

I love capturing the wedding day in a photojournalistic manner, but I also LOVE the time of the day that we get to rock out some fun portraits… so, yes, I guess I am a poser.  :)

My photo…

Long time, no blog!  I promise this blog will be back to hopin’ busy over the coming month…. think of this as the calm before the storm :)

My baby boy turned three this weekend.  I can’t believe it’s only been three years… I feel like he’s always been here.  At the same time, I can’t believe it’s already three!  Makes no sense, I know.

Noah,
You’ve made the last 3 years of my life better than I could ever imagine.  I still look at you and cry at how blessed I am to be called your mommy.  I’m so thankful that God chose to trust us with your precious little life.  I hope this year is filled with lots of laughs, very few temper tantrums, loads of lincoln logs, walks through the woods, and cupcakes.
Love you the most,
Momma

Just a quick note that I am no longer accepting bookings for 2010 weddings.  I limit myself to a certain number each year, so that I can make sure each couple is getting adequate attention… and so I don’t die of exhaustion.  :)   Anyways, that number has been reached!  If you are looking for wedding photography and would like some referrals to other photographers though, feel free to drop me a line!

All other shoots (family, babies, seniors, etc) are still being booked!

2011 brides – You’re up!  :)
